Alumni: Help! How do I...?

Resources and services available to Albright Alumni

What do you need?

Alumni can borrow a total of 6 items (books and popular reading) at a time.  You will need to be sure that you bring your college ID and that your library registration is up to date.

Books? Click here to access our online catalog.

Articles? Alumni can request help from a reference librarian if they need research assistance. To access a list of free databases, click here.

Quiet space? Try the library.

Need a place to use your own laptop?   Alumni can request a daily access pass to the Library wireless system by contacting the Reference staff (LibraryREF@albright.edu, 610-921-7211) -- we will work with the ITS department to get the access.

To kick back & relax? Borrow some DVDs or popular reading. Check out the library collection on the main floor.

We are open over 100 hours per week!

Keep My Library Account Active

You will need to annually re-register with the library.  You will be asked to:

  • Bring your college ID card or another type of photo ID card
  • Bring ID, e.g., drivers license, that verifies yoru address

If you do not have a college ID, you will receive a red library ID card that can only be used to check out materials in the library.

Obtain Services I Enjoyed as a Student

Reference support is available to all alumni by calling 610-921-7211 or emailing libraryref@albright.eduu .  The Albright Library participates in a 24/7 reference desk service, AskHerePA, that you can access.

We highly recommend that you become a member of your local public library system and use the journal databases and interlibrary loan services offered by them since those services are restricted to current students.

A more detailed listing of services is available in the policies for alumni.
