Library Mission

As the educational heart of the campus, the F.W. Gingrich Library supports Albright's liberal arts community and fosters academic excellence and intellectual discovery through our collections, services, research support and facilities.

Library Goals

1. Support our users with carefully curated collections, resources, highly trained staff and quality services that support the curriculum, research, and information needs of faculty, staff and students.

2. Create an environment that invites curiosity, study, learning, and creativity and provide space for both individualized and collaborative work.

3. Model the best practices of service excellence and work with our patrons in support of their learning, teaching and research goals and encourage them to integrate these behaviors into information fluency.

4.Utilize our expertise to assist our constituent in locating and using information efficiently and ethically and keep abreast of and promote the latest tools, trends and services in the evolving information landscape.
