  • Folger Shakespeare Library
    The Folger is a world-renowned research center on Shakespeare and on the early modern age in the West. The Folger also publishes the illustrated, completely re-edited Folger Editions of Shakespeare's plays, award-winning exhibition catalogs, and the journal Shakespeare Quarterly.
  • Internet Shakespeare Editions
    On this website, you will find one of the web's widest varieties of Shakespeare-related resources, including fully annotated texts of his plays and poems, exciting multimedia materials and records of his plays in performance, and thousands of searchable pages devoted to the history, arts, politics, society, and stage of Shakespeare's world, as well as biographical details of his life.

    Open access resources on Shakespeare from MIT.
  • Shakespeare Resource Center
    In addition to Shakespearian works, this site also links to resources such as the authorship debate, Shakespeare’s will, online resources for study, and a history of the Globe Theater.
  • Shakespeare Illustrated
    Offers a fairly comprehensive set of illustrations from plays as well as a listing of artists who have used Shakespearian topics as the basis for illustrations, with links to their works.
