  • Moodle Upgrade Complete

    moodle image Moodle has been upgraded from version 2.2 to 2.6. Anyone with questions or issues should contact moodle@alb.edu.
  • Miss Your READING EAGLE News?

    Recently the Reading Eagle started to charge for access to its web-based news.
    The library does subscribe to the published newspaper online from 10/1989 until today.

    Log into the Reading Eagle archive website by going to the library database section at library.albright.edu/az_databases and selecting R and then Reading Eagle Archives.

    Coke Codes Convert to Free Drinks

    The Library is collecting codes from Coke, Coke Zero, Diet Coke, Sprite, Dasani, Powerade, MinuteMaid, Fanta, Barqa, Fresca, Pibb, Mellow Yellow, Fuze and Seagrams products in the MyCokeRewards program. These codes are converted for soda for library-sponsored events. Send your codes to Rosemary Deegan.

Library 50 Years Old!

We appreciated your support! The library has a short online scrapbook of library and college history available at libservices.albright.edu/50anniversary. This book is viewable on all devices.

What's New on LION

The library is pleased to announce a new subscription to Ambrose  Digital Videos, a collection of almost 600 streaming videos on a variety of academic subjects. These quality videos can be viewed on all types of computers and mobile devices, both on and off-campus. You can view entire programs or just sections of a program and links can be embedded into Moodle or webpages. There are unlimited users for the videos, making them ideal for use with classes or as a fourth hour of rigor component. All materials are close captioned.

Video titles include the entire BBC Shakespeare CollectionA History of Civil Rights in AmericaGlobal Warming, Great Authors of the British IslesWhen the Water Tap Runs Dry and many, many more. Click on the Screening Room link for a Quick List of the all the series. The best part is that you can ignore the pricing information because it is all included in our subscription!
