To help you find articles for your research projects, the library subscribes to databases and electronic resources in a variety of subject areas. When you access these databases found on our website, you are NOT searching the unrestricted Internet. These resources provide citations to pertinent popular and scholarly magazine and journal articles, and in many cases the full-text of the items is available. These materials are subscribed to (and paid for) by Albright College to ensure that you have access to worthwhile, dependable information for your research.
The Databases web page is the gateway to all of the electronic resources provided by the Gingrich Library. Check out the following help pages for more subject-specific assistance:
Accounting
Applied Psychology
Business Administration
Crime and Justice
Information Systems
Information Systems and Management
PLEASE NOTE: Students, faculty and staff accessing databases from off-campus will be asked to enter their LionLINK username & password. Anyone with problems accessing these databases should call 610-921-7211 or email libraryref@albright.edu for assistance. If you need something we don't have, request the item via Interlibrary Loan. Click the dropdown arrow on the Interlibrary Loan tab above for details.
Some remote users have difficulty connecting to our resources from their workplace. In order to ensure computer security, businesses frequently use firewalls which can interfere with our remote access computer. If you can connect successfully from home but not from work, please discuss the problem with your employer's IT department. All other problems with accessing our resources should be referred to the library Reference Desk at 610-921-7211, 1-888-253-8851 or libraryref@albright.edu.
