  • Conceptboard: an online non-flash collaboration tool. Users can collaborate on a photo, presentation, or any other project simultaneously in real-time. There is a free basic service (allows for 20 boards), other plans vary in price.
  • Glogster: create a collaborative online poster using images and graphics from around the web. Free to use.
  • Mindmeister: create sleek brainstorming mindmaps. You can also use a mobile app to brainstorm on the go. There is a fee for each level of service.
  • Museum Box: an innovative graphic organizing tool. Information is organized into "boxes," with one piece of information, photo, or video per "side" of each box. Free to use.
  • Popplet: an online brainstorming/presentation tool. With Popplet, you can upload photos to your mind maps, and continue your work on your iPad with the Popplet app. Free to use.

  • Scoop.it: an online magazine creation tool. Scoop.it feeds you with links related to your area of interest, and then you decide which links should be included in your page. You can then share your passion with others by inviting them to follow your page and to suggest their own content. The basic service is free, other plans vary in price.
  • Tagxedo: a word cloud generator with style! Choose a custom layout, color scheme, font, and size for your word cloud. Free to use.
  • Timetoast: an online timeline making service. Store timelines online and share them with anyone. Include photos with your dates for a stunning timeline. Free to use.
