Jensen Greenhouse: Home

Connecting the Past with the Present

The greenhouse was named for Roger Dean Jensen who came to Albright in 1976 as the first botanist on the faculty. He died in 1983. A flowering dogwood tree (along with a plaque) is planted behind the Science Center in his memory. He raised a variety of plants in the greenhouse, constructed in 1978. The greenhouse also gave students practical experience studying botany.
