JSTOR is an important multidisciplinary database that should be particularly useful for your project for this course. It includes scholarly journal articles and some books. Most items are older, so do not use for current events.
Google Scholar is an academic version of Google providing a simple way to broadly search for scholarly literature. It includes peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers.
