JSTOR was created in 1995 as a way to "to help libraries save shelf space and money by digitizing journals, using emerging technologies to preserve and make them available for research." Thirty years later, in addition to being an indispensable academic resource tool, JSTOR's collections have expanded well beyond journals and now include arts and multimedia, ebooks, and library-contributed collections (including Albright's digital collections). A full description of, and access to, other material is available here.
