1. To begin, click this link for ERIC/EDRS. Enter your search term and use quotes if you are searching for a phrase. Check the Peer reviewed only box to limit your search to peer reviewed items and click Search.

2. Use the limiters on the left of the screen to focus your search. For example, by clicking on the "Since 2023" link in the Publication Date box, you will find the 735 items about "english language learners" from that timeframe. Clicking the "Teaching Methods" link in the Descriptor box, will find the 1853 items that are about teaching methods for "english language learners."
Once you find an article that interests you, look to the right for the gray box and a Download full text link. If you don't see a link, check the journal title (in the example below, the Canadian Journal of Applied Linguistics), not the title of the article in the library's Journal Locator to see if the library has access. If not, you may use Interlibrary Loan to get the article from another library.
