The rare book collection consists mainly of books published prior to 1830. Books include those from the libraries of the Union Seminary, Central Pennsylvania College, and Schuylkill Seminary, and from the libraries of the Neocosmian Literary Society and the Excelsior Literary Society; many are Bibles and other Christinan texts. Part of the collection consists of miniature books, autographed editions, first editions, limited editions, private press publications and books with unique bindings. |
