Undergraduate Students (Day Program) and Graduate Students: Help! How do I...?

Basic information about the library for the undergrad.

I need help! How do I...?

Find Books and Check Them Out

cataLION online catalog/OPAC - Use the library catalog to search the physical books, CD's, DVD's and other items in the Gingrich library building. Your photo ID is also your borrower's card.  Just take the items you want and your ID card to the Circulation Desk. Also used to locate e-books. If you don't find what you want here, use Worldcat to locate books in other libraries.

Find Articles

To locate a general journal and magazine articles use a multidisciplinary (all subject) database such as Academic Search Complete or Proquest or choose a subject specific database from the lists on the database page.

Get Items We Don't Own at Albright

Just because we don't own the book or journal you need, it doesn't mean we can't get it for you using our interlibrary loan service. Use ILLIAD to order items you need regardless of their location.

Renew Materials

You library materials are due but you can't come to the library. Avoid a big fine and log in to renew online here.

Use Class Reserves

Many times professors will put items "on reserve" so every student in the class has access. If your professor tells you that you need to get an item from reserve, just bring your photo ID to the Circulation Desk and we can help you.
