How should I search in a database?
Journal and magazine articles can be found using the following electronic databases, by conducting a keyword search or using subject headings.
► Academic Search Complete
A large multidisciplinary database covering many different topics, including philosophy, and many articles are full-text going back as far as 1887.
► JSTOR
is a shared digital library that includes the full-text of more than 2,000 academic journals, dating back to the first volume published.
► ATLA Religion Database
This database is the definitive index for religious and theological literature. It is an essential resource for researchers and students in theology as well as social sciences, history, and humanities. Coverage 1949-present.
► Humanities and Social Sciences Retrospective
Is a bibliographic database that incudes citations to over a million articles covering the years 1907-1984,
