The purpose of the library research exercises is to become familiar with the library resources at Albright and develop the skills necessary to find and use superior academic sources in research.
The first library research topic:
- Select a genetic disease or birth defect, e.g., trisomy 21, cystic fibrosis, spina bifida, tay sachs, sickle cell anemia, Turner’s syndrome, or other anatomical anomalies.
- Be prepared to describe the subject you have chosen
- Discuss the social, ethical and economic issues with which it is associated.
