Academic disciplines usually have a preferred citation style.
Databases may provide citations in different styles for information they contain.
Software such as Zotero, Mendeley KnightCite, and BibGuru can also help manage citations.
Citations from databases and software are not always perfect and should be checked to make sure your citation is correct.
If you're not familiar with a topic, Gale Virtual Reference Library may provide a starting point. Used to get background information, but usually not cited.
The Find dropdown menu links to
"Find articles & more". This search box at the top of library pages searches all resources. Searches can be refined using options and Advanced Search. If you search using the "By Subject or Major" link there may be a list of "Best Bets!" databases for the subject.
The A-Z List of Databases is a list of all available databases.
You can also search for information on the internet, but you will have to judge the reliability of what you find.
Check your search results to see if the books or articles are available at Albright. If they aren't you can request them through Interlibrary Loan (ILL). Copies of articles are usually available in a few days. Physical books take longer to arrive.
